Tomorrow's appointment we plan to ask the dr. which labor method she prefers and attempt to narrow down our selection. Trev keeps joking that I'm having a 10lb boy, which isn't very funny at this point. I guess he's accepted that I should have a csection. Anyway, this discussion happened in class last night and I was reminded of my weird pregnancy dream where I basically had a zipper on my belly. Maybe a csection was destined all along...
That's a funny dream about the zipper! The scar (at first) does look a little like a zipper - but, no worries it heals VERY NICELY and is pretty much unnoticeable.
ReplyDeleteI had a c-section (didn't want one either, but it was an emergency one)...and by the time they told me they were going to do one I didn't even care! I just wanted to get that baby OUT!!! Honestly, the first few days of recovery are hard (but you are still in the hospital then)...but after that it wasn't too bad I didn't think.
I think that regular delivery and c-section both have their challenges. My neighbor could hardly sit for a few weeks after regular delivery. So, with that being said, neither one are all that "bad" or one is not worse than the other I don't think...they both come with their own set of challenges.
If you have any c-section questions let me know. I'll give you the low-down. Can't wait to hear what the doc says tomorrow!
Good luck tomorrow - it'll all work out for the best!
