Lucius turned 8 months this past Saturday and I feel like all the milestones started piling on. Here's a little list of what he's accomplished lately:
- says "ma-ma"
- FINALLY rolled over and is interested in being on his belly more
- began scooting a little bit
- getting a third tooth, but not the one of the top 2 center teeth, it's the next tooth over. How's that going to help him chew?!
- went to get him this morning and he'd rolled over, no more sleep sack.
- He discovered what's "in" his diaper and now makes changing him VERY difficult
- will no longer take a bottle. So I guess we can't go out for more than 3 hours ever again :)
- We've been working on the sippy cup. He does better to drink from it without a lid. We're hoping we can get him to drink milk out of it. Right now all we're trying is water. And he seems to be enjoying it
- we're up to 3+ solid meals a day. Today he ate half my yogurt with his own breakfast
- mimics us
- loves peek-a-boo
- looks around corners to keep an eye on whoever is leaving the room
- plays on his own for 20+ minutes several times a day
- loves bath time and being in the pool
- always keeps an eye on mommy
We're all really happy.
