overactive mind

Had our internet worked last night I might have posted as 3AM. I woke up at 1:30 with my mind just rushing with thoughts. After 45 minutes of not falling asleep I gave up and turned on the light and read, until 4:30! Right before I woke up this morning I had a bad dream about Vega pup. She was trying to wake me up and I pinched her neck and she hollered in pain and fell off the bed. I was practically in tears when I woke up and just typing this made me tear up some. however she was fine. When I really woke up, there she was excitedly giving me good morning kisses.
Surprisingly, I'm pretty awake today. The most glorious part of being awake last night is, I got to feel Bump push against my skin several times. I was touching his head, or butt, a few times. It was truly amazing.

My poor poor husband...yesterday he went to put our new desk together. Instructions told him to build it upside down. As he went to line up the support he accidentally stepped on the peg for the support, barefooted. It went right into his foot. I don't think it needed stitches but after 4 hours of rest he tried to work on the desk again (with sandals on) and it caused his foot to open back up. He stayed home today because how in the world would he be able to wear shoes and he could barely walk. I feel so bad for him. Maybe he'll go to the dr. and get them to use some surgical glue on the wound.
